One of our very best of many renovations over the years. Awarded Best Renovation / Addition over $1m in the 2013 Master Builders Awards, The Eyrie involved the complete redevelopment of a dated, existing home. Icon Synergy had to retrofit the building with technology and materials that required precision beyond the skill of the original build. Complex elements, such as a lift servicing four floors, meant that site and project management were key to the project’s success.
This was a project of firsts, such as the first use in Victoria of Phase Change Material (PCM) – a new and exciting material that greatly enhances the energy performance of the building.
Icon Synergy also used vertically rolled Alucobond® sheets to create the crisp and modern curves of the facade.
Awards:
Master Builder’s Excellence in Housing
Best Renovation / Addition over $1m 2013
Design Matters (BDAV)
Winner: 2013 Best Residential Alterations & Additions: $500K+
